Ebone' Mitchell

Ebone' Mitchell attends North Carolina State University, majoring in communication with a media concentration.
As a student at Mount Tabor High School, Ebone' took the responsiblity as captain for the girl's basketball team and provided her teammates with direction and leadership. Ebone' served as a senior representative where she took part in making imperative decisions regarding her senior class. Throughout her tenure at Mount Tabor, Ebone' was also member of the Spanish Club, National Art Honor Society, Art Club, and the women's track team. Her membership in Spanish Club also gave Ebone' an expanded appreciation for other cultures. National Art Honor Society and Art Club allowed Ebone' to actively engage in her craft and further her skill and knowledge of the arts.
At North Carolina State University, Ebone' served as manager for the women's varsity basketball team for one year. As a manager, Ebone' was held responsible for making sure practices and game-day situations ran smoothly and efficiently. Ebone' handled videography for some games, which were used by coaches for NCSU, referees as well as the opposing team.
Ebone' is currently employed with the Alexander YMCA in Raleigh, NC. As an employee, Ebone' currently holds a position a counselor for children in grades K-8, a counselor for ASPIRE (a program aimed for children with special needs) and an official (referee) for youth basketball leagues. In addition to making sure the children have completed their homework, Ebone' provides a safe and positive learning environment for them. Ebone' is charged with being a positive role model and mentor to all children while uplifting and empowering them in the process.
In the future, Ebone' would like to work with either marketing or advertising and is very willing to relocate.
