Edgar Bonilla T.

Colombia, Bogotá

I am a Business Administrator and active Consultant on Energy & Mining affairs. Currently working in the Power Generation sector, Mining, and Communications infrastructure in Colombia. For the past twenty years I commuted a lot; mostly between Europe, Asia, and the USA. After long years of interacting with various cultures I concluded that every one is unique and special in its own, and as such they should be all appreciated, very much respected, and never ever discriminated. As one of many Colombian citizens I had as well to cope with the barriers and stigmas of being borned in a country cataloged during the 80's and 90's as a nation lost in terrorism, and drug dealing. It was a terrible time, it was embarrassing to mention my nationality before other people. Comments were usually very discriminating because of that. Fortunately this belongs to the past, and time has changed a lot the point of view of foreigners toward us. Nowadays I'm living again in Colombia, I enjoy very much every single minute of the day and I treasure it as if it was the las minute to live. I think, this is a humble way to express why I consider deeply that just the fact of staying alive in this wonderful world is such a humongous gift from heaven above!
