Ebony Grimsley-Vaz

Ebony T. Grimsley-Vaz is the owner and Creative Director of Above Promotions, a digital marketing and publicity,company in Tampa and the author of the book titled, "Because You're Small: Effective Marketing Strategies for Immediate Implementation". Her instinctive business sense and passion for assisting others in achieving their dreams creates a perfect match for success for all of her clients and attendees at conferences and seminars.

Over the years, Ebony has had the opportunity to work with and planned events for brands and charities that included celebrities that are known and stretch across various audiences and backgrounds. Although most of her clients and experiences reach beyond the Tampa Bay area, she continuously plans, hosts and participates with standing events such as Stu’s Annual Father Daughter Dance, Tampa Bay Association of Black Journalists Griot Drum Awards, A Day of Thanks as well as serves on the Board of Advisors for the Ad Age Advisory Panel and is the City Director for National Lemonade Day Tampa Bay which is powered by Google.
