As a Professional with experience in water, sanitation and hygiene policies (WASH), urban development and environmental policy. I have a solid background in fieldwork, technical support and research (USAID, World Bank, and numerous NGOs), and business development of the United States and the foundation.
Bornand raised just outside Boston and the last of eleven children, I was the firstof my family to go to college. I studied biology and environmental science atColby College. In Colby, I had the opportunity to study at the InternationalCenter for French Studies (CIEF) in Dijon, France and in Arusha, Tanzania, withthe International Training School (SIT). Seeing the challenges of urbanplanning in Tanzania, I went on to pursue studies in Sustainable InternationalDevelopment at Brandeis University and doctoral work and water and sanitationstudies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, at King's College in London. I live inBoston and spend some time in DC. In addition to professional activities, Ivolunteer at MIT, obsessed with New England sports, and do some gardening inthe summer.
