I'm interested in how technology can help people do what they want with as little distraction as possible. Robotics has always been one aspect of the intersection between computers and the physical world. In robotics the goal is not only to sense the world but to interact with it.
I study robotic navigation, computer vision, and other estimation problems. Away from computers I'm most likely to be found climbing, cooking, and traveling.
