Elizabeth's career journey has been one of an entrepreneurial adventure. An employee in her early 20′s, she quickly realized that she was wired to live outside the box and embark on her own. Her first endeavor (if you don’t count the cleaning business in 7th grade) was that of a real estate broker, where she experienced much success. Then, in 1997, she started her own International Relocation firm, The Cannon Group, Inc. Hundreds of families’ moves into the United States wtih major corporations were handled by Elizabeth and her team of 8 employees and over 39 consultants in the field. She sold that company in 2001 to her national competitor two weeks prior to 9/11.
After becoming a mother in 2000, Elizabeth had a burning desire to have her cake and eat it too. She did not want to build a traditional business again, but yet did not want to work for someone else. She was unemployable. In 2004, she was introduced to the industry of network marketing and within 16 short months rose to the top of her companies pay plan. She was in the 2% of people who were in that category. Inspiring others to build their own businesses and educating people on what this industry is and is not became a passion for her. Although she made a major change in Feburary of this year, she still enjoys this vehicle as a means of empowering others to build their own business and create a life by design, not default™.
In 2009, Elizabeth became an ordained pastor while working with students at a two year bible college. A new passion was ignited in her to see emerging leaders equipped to walk forth in the fullness of who they are, and in September of 2009 her organization, The FUEL Station was birthed. She has fueled hundreds of people to think bigger about who they are and what they offer the world.
Elizabeth has had the honor to speak in front of hundreds, even thousands, with audiences ranging from high powered business people to Mother’s of Preschoolers to women’s conferences to church services. No matter the audience, people find her relatable, fresh, and leave feeling inspired and stirred up to go after the “more” that is available to them.
Elizabeth lives tucked away on the side of a mountain in Moravian Falls, NC with her husband of 15 years, Keith, and their beautiful 13 year old daughter, Katherine.
