Ebs Akintade

Ebs Akintade lives in London, and is a graduate of De Montfort University. He is also a freelance broadcaster, presenter, and host. He has worked for the BBC London radio station as a contributor and guest, as well as presenting for the independent station, Radio Jackie.
In addition, Ebs has been the red-carpet reporter at the BFI London Film Festival, interviewing celebrities at Leicester Square’s three main cinemas. He also presented events for Absolut Vodka at various locations across the UK, where special guests were led through a sensory maze.
Ebs Akintade is a trustee of the charity National Park City, an organisation that aims to improve life in London by making the city greener, wilder, and healthier. He hosted an event run by the group in February 2018.
Prior to his presenting and hosting work, Ebs spent time as a senior production runner and junior researcher at Sunset and Vine. As part of this role, he conducted, produced, and directed interviews with various individuals across the UK, and created innovative links and location features.
In April 2022 Ebs also made a seamless transition from BBC Radio London to Talk Radio and TV, with Petrie Hosken, which is not just a radio show, but will be simulcast on the Talk TV and broadcasted on Sky Channel 356.
In his spare time, Ebs is a keen gardener, and enjoys going to the gym regularly. He visits the theatre and museums when he can too, and relaxes by watching films and TV, citing The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time and Afterlife as two of his favourite shows. Ebs love to travel and has spent time in many different locations across the globe, including Ontario, Gran Canaria, Jamaica, Thailand, Portugal, France, and Spain.
