Lacey Buss

Lacey Buss is a 15-year veteran of the Early Care and Education field, having worked as a teacher, center director, professional development specialist for Gateways to Opportunity, and most recently, as a grant consultant. Lacey holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood and a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries from Lincoln Christian University. Lacey has earned the Illinois Director Credential II, an ECE Credential, Level 5, as well as an Infant Toddler Credential, Level 2. Lacey serves on the board of the Capitol Area Association for the Education of Young Children, and is the co-chair of the 2014 ILAEYC Growing Futures Conference.
As a grants administrator for a statewide non-profit, Lacey has gained skills and knowledge in the grants field, and passes that knowledge on to her true field of passion, ECE, through training and consulting on grants. Lacey is a Gateways to Opportunity Registry Approved Trainer, with Child Care Grants 101 as an approved training. Lacey lives in central Illinois with her husband, who also works in ECE, and her two young sons.
