I am a dynamic and experienced local, regional, statewide, and national bilingual-multicultural (English-Spanish) freelance academic and community-based social impact advisor and consultant working for and with colleges and universities, and special interest projects.
As a language access advocate and bridge, I am professionally trained and certified English-Spanish education and medical interpreter and translator.
In addition, I am involved in service leadership, coalition building, and program-project ideation and development. And higher education and public health equity advocacy in policy and practice.
In tandem, I hold a breadth and depth of experience in bilingual community-engagement and community-based participatory education and research, cultural and linguistic responsiveness, constituent and stakeholder public relations, and strategic partnerships.
Plus, a broad knowledge of Appreciative Inquiry, Leading By Convening, and Collective Impact.
Currently, I am affiliated with Georgetown University, Morehouse School of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine, UMass Amherst, and Georgia State University.
Most recently, I completed a Mini-Master of Public Administration (Mini-MPA) at Rutgers University and soon will obtain the Community Health Worker certificate through Temple University.
I also advise and mentor graduate, post-graduate, and professional students.
