After considering the complexity of a tree in a schoolyard I was passing on a walk to the St. Louis County Library on St. Charles Rock Road I was intrigued by the similar, yet profoundly different intricateness of my hand as I shaded my eyes looking up towards the sky through the leaves of the tree. Within moments, I knew there HAD to be a Creator and love was the Creator's gift. A young gentleman (Kevin) walked up to me and invited me to join him and the teens that soon surrounded us, to church--directly after this revelation about who my Loving Creator was hit me. Here's a quick list of some additional significant events that have shaped me. I am a graduate of Ritenour Senior High School in 1976, husband to Karmalene since 1981, graduate with a Business Administration/Computer Science degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 1984, father to Brandon in 1985, then Nate in 1987...then in 1996 after a nineteen-year career at JCPenney I responded to God's call to ministry with Indian Creek Community Church as a Director of Student Ministries working with 6th through college age students and then in other areas.
