Invented and patented (Patent No. 7,346,156) system of placing international and long distance calls that render obsolete the entire $35 Billion-dollar international calling card industry. The invention is currently licensed by the largest international telecom service providers all over the world including such European giants as Rebtel and Localphone.

In 2006, together with only 1 (one) developer, built (around my patent), launched, and made it the multi-million dollar business in less than 1 year. Our motto ‘Do it ones, do it right’ allowed us to create a highly customizable telecom platform with an integrated credit card fraud prevention module that allowed only two people to manage telecom business with hundreds of thousands of customers.

The StanaCard credit card anti-fraud solution is still the most sophisticated anti-fraud platform in the industry.

StanaCard operations were managed by only 2 (two) people, including myself, for a period of four consecutive years. I set a multitude of standards in International Telecom marketing and consumer approach. Most of the standards are still being used today by the key industry players.

I completely exited StanaCard in 2014 after exactly 10 years in the Telecom Industry. When, in 2004, I traded an awesome career on Wall St. at the Salomon Smith Barney for a hectic startup environment, words like “VoIP” and “Vonage” had the same magnitude as words “Twitter” or “Instagram” today.

StanaCard is no longer a startup but rather a full-blown business called KeKu with a corporate structure and over 20 employees taking care of customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I truly hope that KeKu.com will be able to continue the legacy of StanaCard for the years to come and focus on what it was built for – the impeccable quality of services.
