Eda Çağlar got Bachelor Degree from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Education Department of Science and Technology Education in 2006 and got the master degree from Kadir Has University Faculty of Communication Department in the subject area of New Media in 2012. She has scientific papers presented in the variety of platforms.
She believes that new media switches the paradigms of traditional education requires the change of national education systems as well. Her last research aim was to determine the level of compliance with what international standards of educational technology for teachers actually required and new media to create new media oriented and innovative technology-supported education environment in Turkey. She had a period of professional training in the field of Leadership and Brand Management at the University of Central Florida in 2008. During the this period, she did internship World Disney World Company in Orlando. Since then, she has been studying in the fields of digital leadership and Socratic learning, social media applications in education, digital publishing, new media, education management, mobile education, culture and the virtual identity in cyberspace, e-learning materials and learning objects, technology-supported learning applications, digital event management.
Recently, she founded and implemented workshops about popular science activities which are called Curiousity Science Workshops. Curiosity Science workshops, which are designed for the purpose of introducing students that scientific thinking skills are used thoughout life, aim developing and enriching problem solving, multi-dimensional thinking and psychomotor skills of students. In this scope, regularly, digital contents about these workshops are shared in the social media platforms and blogs and time to time these contents are performed and applied.
