Firstly, thank you for wanting to know more about me.
Primarily, I’m a Start-up coach, trainer and co-founder of Cambridge Business Lounge.
Over the last 14 years, I’ve mentored, trained and supported thousands of Start-Ups and Small Businesses in 121 coaching sessions, workshops or mastermind groups.
Most people start a business to do something that they love or to create a better lifestyle and my work helps clients through the early stages of their journey.
Being self-employed doesn’t have to mean being by-yourself-employed, and by working together we focus on filling in those vital knowledge gaps, introducing and building relationships with key stakeholders and supporting you through any uncharted waters – all to help to get the new business up and running.
Much of my work has been supporting the small business clients of larger organisations including Barclays, Sage, Intuit and Google, and since Jan 2013, delivered through Cambridge Business Lounge – a coworking, meeting room and business support space in the heart of the city.
Other work includes the design and delivery of internal coaching and training workshops for Barclays, Sage and Lloyds Bank, including Stakeholder Management, Customer Service, Call Centre Coaching and more.
I’ve delivered exhibition and keynote presentations at the MADE Festival, Business Start-Up Show, and other events at Earls Court, ExCel London and The National Space Centre.
In January 2015, I had my first business book published “New Business: Next Steps – The All-in-One Guide to Managing, Marketing and Growing Your Small Business” with a hugely successful launch at Heffers Bookshop in Cambridge.
In 2014, I started delivering Social Media Masterclasses for SocialB, to businesses ranging from start-ups to blue chip organisations.
I write for Cambridge Business Magazine, IQ Magazine, Sage Business Experts amongst others. Finally, in 2015, Startup Grind, powered by Google for Entrepreneurs, returned to Cambridge where I am the Chapter Director.
