Elyssia Davis

I am an Ambitious, Intellectual, Exuberant kind of person. I take almost everything seriously. I enjoy learning new things. I also seemed to be filled with energy of excitement daily.

Hello, my name is Elyssia-Lee Davis, but I preferred to be called Elyssia. I'm from Michigan Center, Michigan. It's a small town with many lakes and outdoor activities.

I am currently a freshman, studying at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). I am seeking to be a social worker once I achieve my Bachelors degree. I would like to further my education into a master's degree so I can be more qualified into my position. I plan to be in Child Protective Services to protect the children that have no control on what is happening in their life. My duty will be to get the children out of unsafe environments and release them into good hands and a excellent growing environment.

Growing up I was always active in doing something, whether it involved school sports, school organizations, outside of school organization or clubs I was busy non stop. I enjoy seeing the happy, bright, smiling faces of others when they see that their are still good people with amazing hearts in american. I want people to understand that not everyone is bad and we do these things out of the kindness of our hearts and the person we have become.

My goal by the age of 30 is to have my masters in social work. To be in the field of child protective services. To successfully place all my clients in good hands. To be well known in the community as a giver and not a taker. Another task of mine to change the mind of everyone who looks down on the interest of becoming a social worker. Many seem to think that being a social worker is an easy occupation, but in reality it is a top suicidal position. It's frustrating, depressing, and you are constantly working at work and at home. To me this occupation is only for people who have the energy and the heart to do it.
