Ed Ceisel

I am an artist and graphic designer living in Evanston (temporarily relocated to Gurnee), Illinois.

My specialty is website and mobile interface design using a variety of technologies including HTML5, CSS 3, jQuery, and ExpressionEngine. I began my design career in 2000, and founded Typerhext in 2002.

Under the pseudonym SplitMetal,
I create portraits and abstract artwork using (mostly) digital tools.
