Eddie Pardovani

I was born and raised in Harlem, New York. Writer/photographer/filmmaker. I am currently working on publishing a self-help book on handling various life situations; I will mix in photography with it, a blend of words of extreme wisdom...and sensual images. My next project is a photobook of couples--nondancers--in dance poses, choreographed by me. I have a short film, THE ITCH JEANINE out on YouTube. I am preparing my roster of short films to shoot this summer, and will enter a few in various film festivals. I am formerly an 11-mile runner (and will be so again, this year). I have boxed in the New York Golden Gloves as a welterweight (1985,1986). I have practiced Yoga on and off since 1975 (as a kid). I have studied several different styles of massage since 1983, and have perfected the Seven Hour Massage. I am a proficient Salsa dancer; in Salsa dancing, I come with a built-in tagline: "If I had a nickel for every woman I have taught to dance Salsa, I could take the rest of the summer off from work (June to September)!" I can teach someone how to dance Salsa in 7 minutes; you can time it. I can turn a scared wallflower into a sensual Salsera. Creatively: My fiction writing is my scripts/short films. My nonfiction writing is my LIFE techniques, my many unique theories on eroticism/sex. I write endlessly on the dynamics that happen between men and women. At some point all these theories will become another book. I live in Chelsea, and go to many art galleries here. I frequently attend art gallery openings, and have had two openings of my photography this year...and will have many more. I firmly espouse the practice of keeping a journal on your life experiences. It cannot help but provide you with endless creative material. If you care to debate that, let's go!
