Working together, I will move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals.
I am an ordained minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God and I have served as a pastor for more than 30+ years. I hold a Bachelor of Theology from International Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, and a PhD in Religious Education from Evangelical Theological Seminary. I have served as a chaplain for the Miami-Dade Police Department since 2001.
In 1997, my wife Maria and I founded the New Life After School Program which focused on providing after school homework assistance and tutoring to at-risk children in Miami-Dade County. We also provide a mentoring component for 35 middle school students. Presently the program serves 185+ children.
In 2009, after the earthquake in Haiti, I began to work with Mission of Hope Haiti and focused on humanitarian work. This along with my 30+ years of pastoral ministry in South Florida with extensive experience in social services, community development, humanitarian relief later developed into consulting and coaching other non-profit organizations with assistance in executive coaching, social media marketing, corporate fundraising, and community networking.
In 2010, I was recruited to serve with Operation Blessing Int'l in Virginia Beach, VA. OBI is ranked as the 6th major international charity and the 23rd largest nonprofit based in the US. As part of the Major Donor Team, my role was to help fund the global work of OBI by approaching individual, corporate and foundation donors for major gifts. In this role, I traveled extensively to present the opportunity first-hand to donors who had a heart and passion to ease the suffering of people throughout the world by supplying food, water, medical aid, as well as international and domestic disaster relief. In 2012, I returned to my home town of Miami.
Aside from working directly with several non-profits, I presently serve on the board of South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
