Edel Serafin

As a former cheerleader at Boise State University I am a sport enthusiastic. An enthusiasm that flourished into something more as I became a Boise State Bronco. Once a Bronco I took advantage of opportunities to enhance my educational mindset. I was one of the few students chosen to partake in the Summer Research Opportunity Program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I also help start the Iota Psi Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi at Boise State University. Taking it from an interest group to an associate group to an official chapter of the fraternity. Serving as the first President of the chapter.

Originally from Los Angeles, CA sports and history have always been part of my upbringing. Specially in the Mexican household I was raised in. I was opened to a passion for soccer not previously experienced. Focusing in history throughout my college journey sports helped me balanced a hectic, but rewarding, lifestyle. Sports hold a special tradition, love, and magical culture that has helped me as a man.
