Eden Gruneir

I'm a student of creative advertising at Seneca College, and an aspiring copywriter. I used to work and study astronomy, so you can ask me anything about that. I love advertising, video games, science fiction, music, sports, and of course, astronomy. I enjoy playing guitar (left handed) when I have spare time.

You may have ended up at my page because you scanned the QR code on the back of my business card. You were probably expecting some information on the constellation that you saw on the back of the card. I'm not one to dissapoint, so here are some cool facts!

Orion

There are some really interesting objects that are situated in Orion. The most famous is the Orion nebula, M42. There is also the Horsehead nebula, M43, M78, Barnard's Loop and the Flame nebula.

Ursa Minor

Ursa Minor is known as the little bear and also as the little dipper. It is most famous for having the North Star, Polaris at its tip. Contrary to popular belief, Polaris is NOT the brightest star in the sky- Sirius is, or if you want to get technical, Venus would be even thoug it is not a star. That misconception probably came from some song.

Andromeda

The most famous object in Andromeda is the Andromeda galaxy. It is one of the best objects to view in the Northern sky. Another great object is the Triangulum galaxy.

Cassiopeia

The two main objects that are really worth observing in Cassiopeia are two open clusters, M52, and M103.

Cepheus

This constellation is home to several interesting deep sky objects. They are the open cluster NGC 188, the Fireworks galaxy, and the nebula NGC 7538.

Perseus

The double cluster in Perseus is my personal favourite deep sky object. They are just spectacular and easy to observe. Perseus is also home to M76 and M34.

Pegasus

Pegasus contains, M15 a globular star cluster, and the star 51 Pegasi, which was the first star outside our solar system to be discovered to have a planet orbiting around it.

You are probably wondering why I named so many constellations. Well, that's because there are many different versions of my business card. Collect them all!
