Edd Ramos was raised in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico where he began to play the guitar at age 13. Soon she was recruited into the Juarez Band scene, where she began to develop his guitar skills. Ramos went on to attend Hanks high school, where he began to study under the instruction of Steve Marquez. During that time Jazz began to interest him. In 2007, Ramos began his studies at the University of Texas at El Paso where he focused on comercial music. Ramos has been performing since 2001, and has made it his goal, as a professional musician, to play as many different genres as possible to include Klezmer, Balkan, Cumbia, Gypsy jazz, corridos, mariachi, Arabic compositions, and classical compositions. Ramos has participated in and created his own performing groups to include La Caravana, Oussa Bossa,

Sonido Cachimbo, and Layali Al Sham. Ramos has worked nationally and internationally with a wide variety of artists and also works with youth to access the arts industry by providing free workshops and music lessons.
