As a partner at the Los Angeles, California-based Lenox Advisors, Inc., Edgar Whitmore leverages nearly 30 years of wealth management experience to advise affluent clients in areas such as estate planning, tax planning, insurance, and investment activity. Edgar Whitmore also works with corporate clients to help with the creation of employee benefit programs and insurance plans. He has been a partner at Lenox since 2018 and has spent the prior six years as managing director.
Before joining Lenox, Edgar Whitmore served as the founding principal of TAG Financial and Insurance Services for two years. He spent the first 17 years of his career as principal at Strategic Benefits Group. Complementing his extensive experience, he earned Certified Family Business Specialist, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Chartered Life Underwriter designations at American College of Financial Services and holds a bachelor's degree in economics from University of the Pacific.
An avid golfer, Mr. Whitmore is a member of both the Sherwood Country Club and Calabasas Country Club. He is also a trustee for Westmark School in Encino, California.
