Edie Hancock
Sheffield, UK
Hey Everyone! My name's Edie and I simply like to bake. I like to bake more than I like to do coursework or essays or revision. Or anything that requires thought or movement.
Right now I'm living in Sheffield where I'm studying English Language and Literature, as well as writing for both the student newspaper and The Tab. Sadly I am afflicted with acute procrastinationitis (that's a thing) so spend a lot of my time in the kitchen when I should be in the library.
Since I've been at Sheffield I've met some wonderul people who've helped me to procrastinate by eating what I bake and giving feedback. For a long time I've wanted to find away to marry my two favourite hobbies (journalisting and baking) but was too lazy to find the answer. Then I decided to start a blog so now I'm happy.
I don't think procrastination is a bad thing. Studies have shown it's links to emotional intelligence, and if you're doing something where there is an end-product is basically better than the thing you had to do in the first place.
This blog is all about celebrating procrastination. Turning guilt into ganache and anxiety into cookies. Nobody likes work, but everybody likes cookies
