Liang He

In 1988, I was born in a little town in South China at about 3:00 a.m.. So I was given the name "Liang", which means "bright" in Chinese. I was lucky to live in a family my parents allowed me to do everything I was interested in. Therefore, I fell love with painting from 2-year-old. My dad always told me "No pains, no gains." Following this belief I kept practising painting day after day. Fortunately, my talent got appreciated by others and great artists. That really was the biggest happiness and encouragement for me.

When stepped into university, I was curious about computer science and since then I was determined to combine art and computer technology together. Luckily again, I got to know the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) when I was junior student. It is a turning point in my life. I made a lot of friends, including brilliant designers, programmers, psychologists, and etc. We not only shared information and knowledge, but also interpreted our dreams together. In projects and researches I felt not lonely and really appreciated them for their sincere help. Today, I am a postgraduate major in HCI in ISCAS. Hope one day I would brighten HCI field in China, even the world.
