Ed Keohane

Springfield, Mo

I recently graduated with my MS in applied anthropology at Missouri State University and I am currently seeking my MBA. My thesis consisted of collecting ex-offender statistics by forming working relationships with people from various government agencies as well as conducting ethnography among ex-offenders in the Springfield, Missouri community. As part of my graduate program I was a research intern with the Mayor’s Commission on Human Rights and Community Relations (MCHRCR). My primary responsibility as an intern for the MCHRCR was to provide the commission with my research findings on ex-offenders in the community in the hopes of introducing legislation that will enhance ex-offender employability and thereby reduce the local recidivism rate. I recently worked as the Assistant to the Coordinator of Graduate Admissions at Missouri State University and I currently work for the United States Postal Service as a Postal Support Employee.
