Ed Moffitt

A resident of Andover, Massachusetts, Edward J. Moffitt holds an impressive amount of achievements to his name. During high school, Edward J. Moffitt was a three-sport athlete, excelling in track, baseball, and football. Starting on the varsity team for three years in a row in baseball, Edward J. Moffitt was also elected Co-captain of his football team and won the Ray B. McQuesten Award for the team's most outstanding player in his senior season, and he was also elected to the Greater Boston League All-Star team as fullback by the league's coaches. He ran the mile in indoor track, placing in many meets and running a 4:50 personal best in his senior season. Utilizing his athletic talents in college, Edward J. Moffitt played football at Worcester Polytechnic Institute as well. During his senior year, Edward J. Moffitt was voted Co-captain of their 9th ranked undefeated Engineers, and he received the team's 12th Player award during his freshman season. Edward J. Moffitt has also accomplished much both academically and professionally. Along with his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Edward J. Moffitt holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance, and is registered as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. A highly exclusive honor in the finance industry, meeting the requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. serves as a symbol of excellence. While working for Merrill Lynch, Edward J. Moffitt received distinction as the Mortgage Champion in 2000, 2001, and 2003. Edward J. Moffitt was also selected for the Winner’s Circle in 2000 and the Executive Club a year later. In his current position at Raymond James & Associates Inc., Edward J. Moffitt belongs to the elite, practice-based Institute of Investment Management Consulting. Edward J. Moffitt continues to succeed in his professional and personal endeavors, and extends his generosity to coaching for Andover Little League. He is a past member of the Andover Soccer Association Board of Directors, and he has donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Greg Rice Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
