Edmund Kwan

Edmund Kwan, MD, has successfully treated patients in his New York-based plastic surgery private practice for nearly two decades. Board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Edmund Kwan utilizes the latest technology and cutting-edge techniques to give patients the appearance they desire. Some of the services he provides include breast augmentation, face-lifts, and liposuction, as well as skin treatments, such as scar tissue removal and the management or treatment of skin cancer.

After earning his medical degree at Georgetown University, Dr. Edmund Kwan completed a surgical internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York. He received additional training at New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center, completing his residency in hand surgery and plastic surgery. Next, Dr. Edmund Kwan undertook a fellowship in reconstructive plastic surgery at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and also facial reconstruction at John's Hopkins Medical Center. He rounded out his training by doing a fellowship in cosmetic and Asian aesthetic surgery at the Plastic Surgery Center of the Pacific in Honolulu.

Beyond his professional obligations, Dr. Edmund Kwan maintains membership in a number of industry organizations. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Plastic Surgeons, member of New York Plastic and Reconstructive Society.
