Ed Byers

A native of Niles, Ohio, I am manager of Media Relations for Medical Mutual of Ohio, having joined Byers joined the company in 2004afrter more than 30 years in Broadcast Journalism I served as news director of radio stations in Youngstown, Akron, Cleveland and Detroit and was on-air news anchor for Nationwide, Jacor and Clear Channel Communications in Cleveland. Prior to that, I served as news director for Metromedia and Infinity Broadcasting Corporations in Detroit. I am also president of the Press Club of Cleveland, past president of the Ohio AP Broadcasters Association and a 2003 inductee into the Ohio Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
