After 17 years of leading two fast-growing printing companies, I returned to journalism in 2011 as the Digital Editor at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and was promoted in July 2013 to National Special Sections Editor at our parent company, American City Business Journals.
I assemble a daily stream of best-in-class information for entrepreneurs and top managers that appear in The Business Journals' national How-To blog. I identify, recruit and build relationships with expert contributors from around the country in a variety of industries, edit their guest posts, and use social media to help drive traffic to them.
I also work with freelance journalists on How-To topics and lesson-driven stories about companies and entrepreneurs. And I work with our national advertising team to provide "native advertising" content for our clients.
I'm a volunteer speaker for Voice of the Martyrs, a 40-year-old organization that supports persecuted Christians worldwide, and I've spent 15 years coaching youth sports, especially baseball.
I've also been a husband to Anne since 1985, and I'm a dad to Joe, Ellen and John.
