I am currently an Instructional Technologist for Brenham ISD. I spent 7 years in the classroom, mostly as a 5th grade science teacher. While I loved being in the classroom, I was drawn to Instructional Technology and eventually became a Campus Technology Specialist. I have been fortunate enough to join the Technology Department in BISD and am excited to see what the future holds.

I absolutely love my job and have a passion for Educational Technology. My new favorite hobby is "Tweeting" and building my PLN. I love finding new Web 2.0 tools to share with my faculty and students and I think social networking can be a powerful educational tool. I am a techno junkie...a perfectionist in everything I do (sometimes to a fault!)...and I am one of those people who genuinely enjoys getting up and coming to work each day!
