Eduardo Cordero Staufert

An entrepreneur with decades of experience in the hospitality and automotive sectors, Eduardo Cordero Staufert has served as president and chief executive officer of Ford Country Motors since 1982. This Guadalajara-based Ford dealership has ranked among the three top automotive retailers in Mexico for the last two decades. Eduardo Cordero Staufert’s responsibilities with Ford Country Motors extend to all aspects of daily operation, including the purchase and sale of automotive inventory. He values and respects his suppliers and employees, and he stresses the importance of customer satisfaction above all else.

Major hospitality properties acquired or developed by Eduardo Cordero Staufert include the Friendly Hola Vallarta Hotel and the Fiesta Americana Hotel in Puerto Vallarta. In 1987, he built the Grand Coral Beach Cancun, a hotel that went on to win 17 consecutive Five Diamonds awards. He built Guadalajara’s 207-room Fiesta Americana Grand in 2007. The Fiesta Americana Grand has received a number of honours, including an Award of Excellence from Booking.com in 2014 and an Outstanding Award from Hotels.com in 2015.
