At Marcus & Millichap of Palo Alto, California, Ed Vergara negotiates complex commercial real estate contracts for initiatives that can take several months to complete. As vice president of investments at the firm, he performs research and deploys his findings in service of investment sales goals. Ed Vergara began his career at Marcus & Millichap as a senior associate before founding the Vergara & Waxman Group, a team that focused on commercial and residential real estate opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In the lead-up to his current position, Ed Vergara worked for Premier Apartment Advisors in Alameda, California. Over his tenure, he helped high-net-worth clients acquire commercial real estate. In recognition of his service, Premier named him Broker of the Year for 2007, 2008, and 2009. His experience as broker also includes time with the Moison Investment Company in San Leandro, California.
Before entering the investment business, Mr. Vergara secured his law degree from Santa Clara University’s law school. He holds membership with the California Bar Association.
