I am a "Big 5" publishing exec in recovery and founder of the "intentionally small" Rhode Island based publishing firm New Street Communications, LLC. This includes the subsidiaries New Street Nautical Audio and Dark Hall Press.
I'm also the author of numerous books published by Doubleday, Oxford University Press, Crown, Basic Books and other such houses.
My essays and reviews have appeared in such publications as The San Francisco Chronicle, The Wall Street Journal, and Hearst's VERANDA.
My 36-year tenure in publishing has included stints at St. Martin's Press and other houses, including MBCI/Macmillan where I served seven years as Director of Computer Publishing Programs.
