Edward Russell
Over the last ten years I have worked across continents as an educator. I began in London, went to summer camp in West Virginia, observed a class in Bratislava, moved to Bangkok, worked with Karen refugees there and then went on to work in Sofia, visiting other cities including Bucharest and Veliko Turnovo doing conferences. Then I departed for Lausanne and found myself working up a mountain in Bluche, after 'Bluching' for some time I went to Damascus at the start of the Arab spring, such great timing....Since then my work in Jerusalem, and Ramallah has helped me ground myself as a teacher educator and led to my subsequent move to the British Council Singapore's Teacher Development Centre.
