I have slightly ambiguous, important-sounding job titles on various business cards, but what I do boils down to this:

I make a living helping organizations identify and solve complex, high-value problems. Sometimes, it's assembling talent and money to turn a mere idea into an actual outcome. Sometimes, it's finding new value in old opportunities. Sometimes, it's building something new from scratch. It's always about innovation. It always requires relationship management and effective communication.

I am particularly strong in the art of negotiating and managing large, deadline-driven proposals. My proposal successes include more than $100-million committed to research networks, major R&D projects, business mergers and venture coaching. At Open-Cell Consulting Group Inc., I standardized all major proposal writing processes into a step-wise production system, based on reverse-engineering of decision-makers' behavior.
