BIOGRAPHY:

I am an accomplished public relations professional with expertise in strategic communications, media relations and special events.

My client roster includes Albany Law School, St. Mary's Healthcare, Freihofer's Run for Women 5K, Troy Turkey Trot, Tour de Cure, Marvin and Company, Senior Whole Health, Capital Bank, SUNY Cobleskill, Higher Education Services Corporation, NYS Broadcasters Association, First Columbia and Image Guided Radiation Therapy.

Before joining Rueckert Advertising, I served as director of community relations for the American Lung Association of Central New York, where I oversaw PR initiatives for an eight-county region of Central and Northern New York and coordinated media coverage for various events and campaigns. Prior to that, I was director of public relations for Major League Soccer's bid committee in Boston, and assistant press officer for World Cup USA 1994/Boston venue, where I provided media relations support for hundreds of international media outlets.

A native of England, I began my writing career as a newspaper reporter and have had articles published in a variety of publications, including The Christian Science Monitor, the Syracuse Herald-Journal, and the Watertown Daily Times (N.Y.). I later served as staff writer at The College of Saint Rose, where I researched, wrote and edited articles for award-winning magazines, annual reports, newsletters, speeches and various recruitment publications.
