Edward Anderton

A certified project management professional with a history of entrepreneurialism, Edward Anderton has served as the managing director of Scarlata Chocolate since cofounding the Seattle-based confectioner in 2012. An online retailer that also makes its products available in local shops and wineries, Scarlata focuses on dark chocolate but also carries other sweet treats, such as the San Juan Salted Caramel and the Grand Marnier Burnt Sugar Orange truffle. Edward Anderton’s accomplishments with Scarlata include establishing a monthly subscription chocolate service, which grew by more than 200 accounts in its initial two years.

Before assuming his current role with Scarlata, Edward Anderton served tenures as an SMSG readiness consultant with Microsoft in Redmond, Washington, and a cofounding manager of Relance Tech in Seattle. A boutique Internet marketing company, Relance performed services that ranged from general website design and social media marketing to search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, e-commerce management, and viral content creation.
