A longtime educational leader in the East Aurora, Illinois area, Edward Brandon brings more than two decades of experience to his position as a test preparation instructor at the Huntington Learning Center in Oswego. In this position, he provides targeted instruction to students preparing to take the ACT and SAT standardized tests in subject areas such as English and math. Edward Brandon also works with parents and students to develop individualized test-taking strategies and study skills.
Mr. Brandon earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Drake University before going on to complete teacher training at North Central College and a master’s degree in educational leadership at Aurora University. Prior to his current position, he held numerous teaching positions in schools throughout the western Chicago suburbs, including North Lawndale College Prep High School, Marian Central Catholic High School, and the Glenwood School for Boys.
An active member of the field, Mr. Brandon holds membership in professional groups such as the National Education Association and the Illinois Education Association. Outside of his professional life, he gives back to the community through his involvement with Compass Church in Naperville, Illinois. A sports fan, he enjoys following the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs during his free time.
