My name is Edward De La Portilla. I'm a 23 year old Austin-ite (Austin, TX) millennial living in the DFW metroplex, freshly graduated with my bachelor's degree from Dallas Baptist University. I am the GroupLife Associate at the Church on Rush Creek in Arlington, TX, for its three campuses, so life is never boring while juggling tasks for the multiple campuses.
Music and biblical community are my two greatest passions. I've been a musician for about 10, 11 years now, and it is actually what lead me to Rush Creek and ultimately how I got plugged in with the LifeGroup ministry. On top of serving in multiple outlets at the church (LifeGroup ministry, worship ministry, and occasional student ministry), I am a part time, mostly self taught, photographer so I take pictures from time to time. I am also a huge lover of tea, Scottish terriers, and vinyl records.
