Edward Fenner

Writer, Consultant, and Editor in Mississauga, ON, Canada

I have been writing and editing professionally since 1985 - the same year I found my soulmate and future wife, Linda. 35+ years later, we are still in love.

Other passions include writing, cooking, storytelling, squirrels, and really nasty single-malt Scotch.

Life began anew at 40. I went to university, became a mature student leader, founded an organization, changed University policy, revived a literary journal, became a publisher, mentored hundreds of students, became a Fellow of Vanier College, earned a BA (Hons), won the president's medal and other awards, wrote some plays and saw them produced, made many friends, and am now a graduate with an MA in Science & Technology Studies, a researcher, and science historian.

My MA research focused on pioneering American experimental physicist and atom-smasher Robert J. Van de Graaff and his eponymous device. I am currently writing a book on the subject.

My younger self would be amazed at the current one.
