Edward Hires

Hi, my name is Edward HIres. I am from Atlanta, Georgia and have lived there my whole life up until college. In Atlanta I lived in Buckhead for the most part, but moved closer to the Sandy Springs area as I reached high school. For high school I went to Mount Vernon High School which is a 1A private school. I have two little sisters, Bridget and Mary Bea, and my parents are Sonny and Julie. Throughout high school I played sports, which I really enjoyed. I played football and baseball. In football I was a defensive back, and a wide receiver, mainly in the slot, while in baseball, I played center field. In my free time I also had a church league basketball team with my friends which was a blast. One of my biggest passions was hunting. I have been going my whole life. I hunt mainly deer, but also really enjoy duck, dove, quail, and turkey. One interesting thing about me is that this is my first semester. I got into UGA for the spring, so last semester I was at UNG, while living in downtown Athens. I'm very excited to be at UGA, and am ready for a great first semester.
