Edward Lee
Over the years, Edward P. Lee has earned a reputation as talented physical therapist, helping patients throughout the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area rehabilitate and recover from all manner of injuries and conditions. The founder and owner of Physical Therapy and Sports Assessment Center, Edward P. Lee brings more than 20 years of relevant experience to his work, along with an impressive record of client satisfaction. Specializing in physical therapy for orthopedic conditions and sports-related injuries, Edward P. Lee and his colleagues at Physical Therapy and Sports Assessment Center have provided ongoing care and support for clients on an outpatient basis since 1991. In addition, Edward P. Lee has treated numerous professional athletes in his offices at Physical Therapy and Sports Assessment Center, building an outstanding referral network in the NBA, NFL, and ATP. Nominated as Emerging Company of the Year by Black Enterprise magazine in 2005, the Center has also treated several physicians in the area and has developed a reputation as "the doctors' choice" for physical therapy. Edward P. Lee maintains an active presence in his local business community and has participated in Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce and the Silver Spring Citizens Advisory Board. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is licensed to practice physical therapy in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. A former professional football player, Edward P. Lee served as a kickoff returner and wide receiver for the Detroit Lions after graduating cum laude from South Carolina State University, where he was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. During his second season with the Lions, Edward P. Lee suffered a career-ending knee injury and subsequently found his calling as a physical therapist. Returning to college, Edward P. Lee enrolled at Howard University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1988. Along with his family, Edward P. Lee resides in Maryland.
