Edward Lehman

Edward Lehman, of Chicago, Illinois comes from afamily background of Legal and Intellectual Property professionals; his father,and grandfather, were both lawyers and Edward is proud to continue thattradition. Mr. Lehman attended DePauw University where he served as Presidentof the student Senate and graduated in 1982. Mr. Lehman earned his law degreeat Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1986, and took his first legaljob at the Chicago Office of an international law firm. Edward served as managing attorney ofthe People’s Republic of China office of that firm at its founding in 1987.From 1989, Edward worked as the first Foreign Lawyer ever at a Chinese stateowned law firm. Mr. Lehman was one of the founding partners of Lehman, Lee& Xu in Shanghai in 1992, and contuse his work at the firm today as ManagingPartner. Mr. Lehman in several other projects including, Lehman Tax &Accounting in the PRC, Lehman, Lee & Xu Mongolia, and Lehman & Bush,and international business consultancy. Mr. Lehman additionally serves as LegalAnalyst for China Central Television News, and has personally consulted withand advised a variety of PRC government organizations in drafting and enforcingvarious areas of law and legislation.
