Edward Miranda
Dr. Edward Miranda serves as the plastic surgeon of his own practice and medical corporation, Edward P. Miranda, M.D. He opened his plastic surgery office in San Francisco, California, in March of 2007. Offering his expertise in a number of techniques, Dr. Edward Miranda performs rhinoplasty (more commonly referred to as nose-reshaping), abdominoplasty (more commonly referred to as a tummy-tuck), breast augmentations, facelifts, breast reconstructions through the DIEP method, and other procedures. In order to achieve his high level of care, Dr. Edward Miranda maintains a dedicated staff of well-trained medical professionals. Through Edward P. Miranda, M. D., Dr. Edward Miranda also offers his expertise in an advisory capacity as a Biomedical Consultant. He began in this role in September of 1997. Meshing his services with ventures in a broad range of industries, Dr. Edward Miranda consults on matters of basic medical device design, device optimization and implementation, clinical practice, medical innovations. Dr. Edward Miranda also serves as one of California Pacific Medical Center’s Attending Plastic Surgeons. Having accepted the role four years ago, Dr. Miranda continues to provide direct care to the Center’s patients in the Department of Microsurgery. In his work at the center, Dr. Edward Miranda specializes in complex reconstructive surgery, breast reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, and microsurgery. In preparing for a career in medicine, Dr. Edward Miranda completed his undergraduate degree in biological chemistry at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. During his studies, Dr. Miranda earned admittance into the Golden Key International Honour Society. He graduated in 1997, and continued immediately into Cornell University’s Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Edward Miranda accepted induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and earned his medical degree in 2001. Moving across the county to San Francisco, Dr. Edward Miranda completed his residency in plastic surgery. He ultimately rose to a place as the Chief Plastic Surgery Resident before finishing the program in 2007.
