About Me

Edward Otto Zielke brings over 25 years of marketing and branding leadership to his role, with a career rooted in creative design, public relations, and strategic storytelling. He began his professional journey at J.P. Morgan Chase in New York, where he supported private client marketing in the Asset & Wealth Management division. As communications chair for the firm’s Pride Network, Edward helped drive meaningful impact by raising funds for LGBTQ+ nonprofits. His commitment to inclusion earned him the JPMorgan Private Bank Excellence and Leadership Award. He later joined Morgan Stanley’s Investment Management team as a Senior Associate, where he specialized in marketing technology.

In 2011, Edward relocated from New Jersey to South Florida, transitioning into hospitality marketing for LGBTQ+ travelers. At North Beach Village Resort and later The Grand Resort and Spa in Fort Lauderdale, he elevated brand visibility through savvy campaigns and high-profile partnerships, including six seasons of sponsorship with talent from RuPaul’s Drag Race. He entered his current role with the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida in 2021. Under his leadership, the chorus has expanded its regional and national presence while staying rooted in its mission to inspire, change hearts, and affirm humanity through music.

Mr. Zielke serves on the Communications Committee for GALA Choruses and serves as a commentator and anchor on Queer News Tonight with the HotSpots Happening Out Television Network. In recognition of his dedication, Edward received the 2023 Champion Award from GMCSF and was named to the 2024 Out & Proud list by OUTSFL.
