Edward Pomponio

Edward Pomponio is a consultant and an amateur photographer. Edward says he and his wife enjoy traveling and that is what fueled his passion for photography. While he has always enjoyed taking pictures, Edward says he really only did it to mark significant events like holidays, birthdays, weddings and other special occasions. He says that it really wasn't until he started traveling that he realized how much he enjoyed photography and it became more of a hobby.

Working full-time for most of his life, Edward Pomponio said it was nearly impossible to take any real time to travel. With deadlines and team projects always taking priority, it became nearly impossible to take any extended time off. Edward said that when his father passed away, he realized how precious life was and that his was passing him by. That's when he decided it was time to make a change. He left his job and became a freelance consultant. This gave him the opportunity to travel more and that is where his love for photography really took root.

Edward and his wife loved traveling and they did so often. If they were not on a vacation, they were planning one. Edward bought himself a top of the line camera and took it with him on every trip. Not only did he realize how much he enjoyed photography, but everyone was telling him that he has a real knack for it. Edward Pomponio began reading everything he could about photography and how to take a more professional picture.
