Upon graduating from college in 2001 with a degree in music and realizing that my rock star fantasies were most likely not going to become a reality, I got into auto sales. I quickly advanced through the ranks to a top salesman and moved into a managerial role. I enjoyed the business end of my job and went back to school to gain a better understanding of business. While working full time I earned my MBA. I switched employment to the University Store (F.K.A. the University Bookstore) in June of 2009 where I have taken a very active interest in social media marketing and finding new ways to connect with college students. I was an early adopter of text message marketing on my college campus and have seen impressive results from texting campaigns. I have presented on text message marketing for ICBA, CAMEX, and will be presenting at the RMACRAO conference in July, 2013.
