I have not done any real work before now. However, I have taken part in some courses with Signals Media.
Interests
Reading books e.g. novels: Relating to my interest in writing I like reading fiction books because they help me see how other people structure their stories.
Book/script writing: Writing is something I have become more interested in recently and is an area which I excel at.
Ambitions
Becoming a film writer and/or director: Given that writing is the area I am most comfortable with, after I have left University becoming a script writer makes sense to me.
Becoming better at writing stories: While my writing has gone through different phases I believe it can and should be a lot better than it is at the moment.
Skill Set
Painting: Something that I became pretty good at after attending Colchester Institute. However, recently I have not followed up on this area. ,
Writing: For the last five years I have started to focus on my ability to write because it is something I enjoy. Also it is relevant to my work at UCS.
Analysis: Since I started taking a greater interest in films I have learnt to examine the qualities of films more closely. I used to just say "Iiked it" or "I didn't like it." Now I determine what I liked or didn't like about a film I have watched.
