I have well over ten years experience managing all aspects of local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs). With my last employer, I was responsible for implementing a virtual private network (VPN) connecting fifteen offices utilizing a Watchguard solution. An important component of the VPN was creating a Windows 2003 Active Directory environment to create security. A domain controller was installed at each of the locations, each of the locations was set up as a site, and each of the sites replicated to each other. Our domain controllers were migrated to virtual Windows 2008 servers and Windows 2012 servers were being tested at the time of my departure.
