Edwin started his IT career in Business Intelligence the when the jargon OLAP was coined in the mid 90s, and since has been passionate with analytics related technology and solutions. He landed himself a job in a niche IT consulting firm specializing on OLAP and EIS solutions in 1994 and since have been working with prospects and clients in various industries from consulting to presales and training in South East Asia and Australia. Throughout he has worked with various Business Intelligence tools including Pilot, Gentia, Holos, Oracle, Microsoft, Crystal and Business Objects. Edwin is currently a Principal Solution Specialist in SAP Analytics for the South East Asia region. He has been with SAP for 23 years including the tenure with Business Objects and Crystal Decisions in which he is instrumental to the development of the market in South East Asia. He has been involved in many of the key deals in the region with a focus and emphasis in the public sector and healthcare in the past couple of years. A geek at heart, Edwin will be seen exploring new gadgets when he is not working on analytics. Outside of work, he focuses on spending time with his family and three kids.
