My ultimate career goal is to face each day accepting challenges, completing tasks, growing professionally and displaying integrity while being a part of a team committed to the success of its organization.

For several years, I have worked in Communications in the areas of Public Relations and Marketing most recently as Community Development Manager. I spent most of my career in post-secondary education settings working in Admissions, Human Resources and Marketing departments for colleges.

Eventually, my love for education led me back to the classroom and I was appointed to teach! I am excited about this new opportunity and the experiences my students and I will share.

Professional areas I am passionate about include education, healthcare, writing, editing and proofreading. I also have experience working with non profit organizations. During my career in the industry I have had the opportunity to freelance in a several areas which have provided rewarding experiences including Best Buddies Inc., an organization dedicated to children with intellectual disabilities.

I believe that the key to unlocking the doors to reach many accomplishments is by maintaining a teachable spirit. Knowledge and education cannot be replaced.
